USAGE NOTE 用法说明: travel, travels, journey, voyage, and 和 trip
Travel is the general activity of moving from place to place. travel 泛指从一地到另一地的旅行:
He returned after years of foreign travel. 他在外国游历多年之后回来了。
Use travels when someone goes to different places over a period of time. travels 是指一个人在一段时间内去不同地方的旅游:
Did you go to LA during your travels around the US? 你在美国旅游的时候去了洛杉矶吗？
Use journey especially to talk about the time spent, or distance travelled going from one place to another. journey 尤用于指从一地到另一地的时间或距离:
a 60-hour journey by train 60 小时的火车行程
A voyage is a journey by sea. voyage 指海上的旅行:
the voyage from England to Australia 从英国到澳洲的海上旅程
A trip is used especially about a short journey, or when you spend only a short time in another place. trip 尤用于指短途旅行，或短时间的外出:
a week-long trip to Barcelona 为期一周的巴塞罗拿之旅
