1 [I,T] to have a dream while you are asleep 做梦，梦见:

2 [I,T] to think about something that you would like to happen 梦想，幻想:

3 wouldn't dream of (doing) sth spoken used to say that you would never do something because you think it is wrong 【口】 〔因认为某事不对〕无论如何也不做，怎么也不会考虑:

USAGE NOTE用法说明: dream
Both dreamed and dreamt are used as the past tense and past participle of dream in British English, but Americans usually use dreamed. 英国英语中 dreamed 和 dreamt 都可用作 dream 的过去式和过去分词，但美国人通常使用 dreamed。
