USAGE NOTE 用法说明: time Compare 比较 spend time, pass time, and 和 waste time. If you spend time on something, you use time sensibly, or in a way that is neither good nor bad. spend 指合理地使用时间,或指一般地花费时间: He spends a lot of time studying. 他用许多时间学习。 If you have too much time that you need to fill in, you might pass the time. pass the time 表示打发时间: We passed the time playing cards. 我们打牌消磨时间。 If you use your time badly or without any success, you waste time. waste time 的意思是浪费时间: I wasted nearly an hour trying to find a parking space! 我浪费了将近一小时寻找泊车位! |
