tie in with sth
if one thing ties in with another, it is connected with the other thing, for example because it contains the same information 与…相符，同…一致:

tie up
1 [tie sb ↔ up] to tie someone's arms, legs etc so that they cannot move 把〔某人〕捆绑起来
2 [tie sth ↔ up] to fasten something together by using string or rope 把〔某物〕捆绑起来
3 be tied up
a) to be very busy 非常繁忙:
Mr Baker can't see you now. He's tied up in a meeting. 贝克先生现在不能见你。他在开会脱不开身。
b) if your money is tied up in something, you cannot use it for anything else 〔金钱〕不能动用:
Our money's tied up in a long-term savings plan. 我们的钱都搁死在一项长期储蓄计划中了。
