Use different from to talk about two things that are not the same. 说到两样不同的东西时，用 different from:
My new school is very different from my old one. 我的新学校和我以前的那所学校很不相同。
In British English, you can also use different to, and in American English you can also use different than. 在英国英语中还可以用 different to, 在美国英语中也可以用 different than。
