USAGE NOTE 用法说明: luck and 和 lucky
If you use luck on its own, it usually means the good things that happen to you by chance. luck 单独使用时一般表示“好运”、“幸运”的意思:
That was a piece of luck! 那真是运气好！
Winning is just a matter of luck. 胜利只是运气好而已。
However, you can also have good luck or bad luck. 但还可以说 good luck 或 bad luck:
It was just bad luck that she arrived at that moment. 她那会儿到，运气真不好。
Lucky is an adjective used to describe a situation in which something good happens by chance, or someone who has good luck. lucky 是形容词，用于描述幸运的人或事:
You were lucky Dad didn't see you do that! 你真幸运，爸爸没看到你干那件事！
That was lucky! The bike nearly knocked you over! 真是运气好！ 那辆自行车差点把你撞倒！
