1 to push the end of a shirt, sheet etc under something so that it looks neat 把〔衬衫、床单等〕塞好:
You've forgotten to tuck your shirt into your trousers! 你忘了把衬衫塞到裤子里面去了！
2 to put something in a small space, especially so that it is safe or comfortable 〔尤指为了安全或舒适〕把…藏好:
She tucked the money into her pocket. 她把钱塞进口袋。
The duck had its head tucked under its wing. 鸭子把头藏到翅膀下。
tuck sth ↔ away1 to store something in a safe place 把…藏起来，把…放好:
