1 [C] a fact or idea that someone talks or writes about 事实，观点，想法:
make a point (=mention a fact or idea) 提出一个想法［论点］: I agreed with several of the points he made. 我同意他提出的几个观点。

2 the point the most important idea or part of something 要点，重点; 关键; 核心问题:

get to the point (=start talking about the most important part of something) 开始谈关键问题［正题］: I wish she'd hurry up and get to the point. 我希望她抓紧时间谈正题。
