USAGE NOTE 用法说明: child, baby, infant, toddler, teenager, and 和 kid
Baby and infant are both words for a very young child who was born not long ago, but the word infant is much more formal. A child who has just learned to walk is a toddler. Children aged 13 to 19 are teenagers. Kid is an informal word meaning a child or young person. baby 和 infant 都表示出生不久、非常年幼的孩子，但 infant 要正式得多。刚学会走路的孩子叫 toddler。十三至十九岁的孩子叫 teenager。kid 是指孩子或年轻人的非正式词语。 |
